Človeška družina je pred največjim pragom v svoji dolgi zgodovini – njenim vstopom v Večjo skupnost inteligentnega življenja v vesolju. Ta pojav bo spremenil človeško dojemanje, prepričanje in način življenja tukaj na Zemlji. Vendar je človeštvo nepripravljeno.
Prvič je priprava na prestop velikega praga v Veliko skupnost na voljo v pismih MV Summersa. Ta obsežen sklop Učenj v celoti ni podoben ničemur na današnjem svetu in predstavlja Novo sporočilo za človeštvo.
